Dedie's passion with chemicals in personal care and cosmetics began over 3 years ago when she worked for a cosmetic company that claimed to be made with natural ingredients. It was after she began researching the products that she realized they were filled with anything but natural ingredients.

As she began her research she found that labels of natural, pure, and even 70% organic mean nothing. When she learned that the FDA only classifies products and does not regulate them...her desire to educate women became a priority. And by providing people with knowledge, they could make better choices in the products that they and their families use.

Through her research and contacts she met Vickie Queen, a women's health advocate and authority on women's hormonal health. During her conversations with Vickie, Dedie soon came to realize how chemicals in cosmetics can actually compromise women's hormonal health! She became even more determined to get this information out to women.

Dedie continues to educate women and share the knowledge she has gained in hopes of seeing the rate of female cancers decrease.

Since founding the HERSnaturally organization, she has become even more passionate in her belief that it's the responsibility of all mothers to pass this information along to their daughters.
